Pogo Studio

Providing stylish, bespoke websites and apps for clients since its inception in 2017, Edinburgh based digital development agency Pogo Studio, has been working in partnership with NHS Lothian and Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland since 2020 to transform the way patients receive medical information.

Developing their Tailored Talks (TT) platform in 2020 to ensure better communication within the healthcare industry, TT enables professionals to filter through a slide library building bespoke presentations for patients which are then sent directly to an interactive portal which allows both the patient and family members to be fully informed of the condition.

The platform currently supports 16 content modules including information on stroke, Covid-19, and 14 neurological conditions and with a number of exciting new projects also in the pipeline, Managing Director, Jack Francis, and Director, Neil Francis, reached out to Business Loans Scotland (BLS) for funding support to boost cash flow.

Following their application, Pogo Studio was successful in receiving two loans from BLS, totalling £162,000 which enabled the business to raise working capital to roll out their solutions across not only Scotland but also within NHS England and the UK private medical sector.

Supporting small and medium sized businesses across Scotland with loans to start-up or grow, BLS offer loans from £25,000 to £250,000 to ensure that commercially viable proposals do not fail from a lack of access to finance.

Fully funded by the Scottish Government, BLS has issued loans to 164 businesses across Scotland to date totalling in excess of £13.2 million with loans being used for various purposes including to raise working capital, invest in office premises, increase marketing activity and to introduce new product lines to name a few.
